Joey’s Legacy sole purpose is providing a place of comfort and solace when a family member has been taken from us unexpectedly. They provide emotional and legal support to assist and bring closure to those who experience feelings of helplessness and hopelessness in times of tragedy and despair.
Joey’s Legacy is a 501(c)3 nonprofit operating since 2017. They get approximately 60 new inquiries a month and help over 600 people annually. Joey’s Legacy does not criminalize the entire veterinary profession. In fact, they support most in the field of veterinary care. Ethical and reputable vets are some of their biggest supporters, including our own expert team who works closely with Joey’s Legacy. It is just the minority of “bad actors” who have to be held accountable for their actions. Joey’s Legacy helps to provide understanding and clarity for those grieving to determine if there is a breakdown in communication (which is the majority of cases) or if in fact there is a “bad actor” involved. And if in fact there is a “bad actor” then Joey’s Legacy is there to expose them in any legal way possible.

No one dislikes bad actor veterinarians more than the 95+% of the great veterinarians in the country dedicated to helping our pets and farm animals.
Joey’s Legacy: Seeking Truth and Integrity in Veterinary Medicine is about the small percentage of bad actors (the Bad Guys) and the victims they leave behind, heartbroken and guilt-ridden that they chose the wrong veterinarian to treat their beloved pets.
Volumes 1 & 2 currently available in Hardback, Paperback, and Digital formats.
Your donation will help fund Joey’s Legacy’s documentaries, which are designed to educate pet parents about the best practices in caring for their companion animals and will expose the dark side of veterinary medicine. No one wants to find out the hard way what goes on behind the scenes.
John Biffar, 9-time Emmy-award winning producer and director, has assembled a sizzle reel that shares a sneak peek of our documentaries. They are scheduled to be released in the Summer of 2023, and will appear on PBS and streaming sites.
